我的课程

  • The Local Geographies of Globalization（全球化之于局部地区） 

采用辩证的眼光，分析全球化及它对局部地区和国家的影响（如金融、贸易、人、文化等方面）。考察在全球化等级系统上层的国际大都市，同时也考察那些被这个等级系统边缘化的亚非拉国家。通过访问、讲座、阅读、电影等形式，理解全球化的正面与负面含义，思考社会公平问题、局部地区的反全球化运动和城市的权利。

  • Stress Management（压力管理） 

心理咨询方向课程，深入探究长期在压力中生存对生理和心理产生的各种影响，如躯体、行为、社会影响等。理解压力如何成为一种适应环境的机制，并着重强调个体、文化与年龄差异。同时通过学习一系列躯体的、认知的、行为的缓解压力的方法，例如冥想、瑜伽、时间管理、自我谈话、肌肉放松、锻炼，以及生活方式的改变，使得学生们学会合理利用压力提高工作表现。此外，也会对沿途国家的人群如何理解、经历和管理压力进行格外的关注。

  • Global Popular Culture（全球流行文化）

通过性别、种族、社会阶层、年龄、是否残疾、性取向等多种视角，以经验的、人种志的、实际考察等不同的方式，观察不同国家和地区的广告、出版物、音乐、舞蹈、视觉艺术与其他文化形式。

  • Global Ethics（全球伦理） 

批判性地探索全球的重要伦理问题，如道德相对主义、人权问题、世界贫困、国际援助、民族主义、世界主义、全球变暖、战争与恐怖主义与全球化。通过阅读Martha Nussbaum, Peter Singer, Thomas Pogge, John Rawls, Michael Walzer, Henry Shue, Immanuel Kant等哲学家的著作，对该主题进行深入理解。在本次行程中，我们将会观察到许多社会人权与伦理问题，因此这门课程上的深入思考对于本次行程不可或缺。
